Having the liability coverage required by the country you’re visiting is critical to protecting you and your auto*. We offer policies with the coverage stipulated by European Union member countries from our own UK office. We can also tailor coverage to your length of stay or countries being visited.

Hagerty’s program includes coverage for physical damage, fire and theft in the countries hobbyists love to visit. In addition to providing protection while traveling in the EU, this insurance is designed to cater to tours outside of the EU, such as Peking to Paris and Jewel That Is Jordan.

Additional tips

• Always engage the services of a forwarding agent, who will help you make arrangements and fill out paperwork.
• Roll-on/roll-off shipping is only suited for cars of low or moderate value and is not the best way to ship most collector vehicles.
• An ATA Carnet Bond or Temporary Import Bond might be required. The Carnet Bond acts like your car’s passport to help eliminate some delays at border crossings.
