<p><ul><li><strong>The Hagerty Market Rating continued its gradual slide for December, dropping over three-quarters of a point to 61.91</strong>. This is the lowest the rating has been since April 2012.</li><li><strong>At auction, the median sale price was up slightly but this was offset by a drop in the number of cars sold. Activity on the private market is down as well</strong>, to its lowest point since November 2013.</li><li><strong>The number of both mainstream and high-end vehicle owners who think that values are growing dropped again for December</strong>. Both numbers are at an all-time low and don't show signs of changing direction.</li><li><strong>The expert sentiment section and condition #3 (good) values in the Hagerty Price Guide are both down slightly</strong> for the end of the year. External market forces like a strong stock market brought the correlated instruments section up, but not enough to offset the other sections' downward movement.</li></ul></p>
