<p><ul><li>For March, <strong>the Hagerty Market Rating saw its first increase in four months with a gain of three-tenths of a point to 64.62.</strong></li><li>After three months of steady increases, <strong>auction activity experienced its largest increase since August of 2018</strong>, largely thanks to an increase of nearly 5.7 points in the median sale price. <strong>Activity on the private market also increased for the fourth month in a row</strong>.</li><li><strong>The number of both high-end and mainstream vehicle owners who think that values are increasing continues to drop</strong>. This is a continuation of a four-month decline for high-end owners and a 10-month decline for mainstream owners.</li><li>The correlated instruments (external market forces like stock market and home prices) section was up this month, but <strong>collector car market experts showed a small drop in optimism to its lowest since mid-2017.</strong>.</li></ul></p>
