started off as a foreign car mechanic and car salesman before talking his way into an entry-level position at a racing PR agency. He went on to lead Charlotte Motor Speedway's PR department and then started Cotter Group, which managed racing programs for major corporations. Now he writes books, races vintage cars and teaches Public Relations at Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina. And he still enjoys getting bloody knuckles working on his own cars.
