Does Hagerty write coverage for comprehensive only?
Yes. Comprehensive-only coverage is available when a car is undergoing restoration, part of a display (such as in a museum) or placed in long-term storage. You should carefully consider this option since Comprehensive-only coverage does not cover vehicle damage caused by Collision with another object. For example, Comprehensive-only coverage would not pay for (Collision) damage resulting from a vehicle falling off a jack while under repair; or a stored, parked auto rolling into the garage door after a brake failure — scenarios that are fairly common to collector vehicles.

Car is in motion and rolls into a tree. That’s Collision.
Even if no one was driving.
