    • The service providers who provide roadside assistance are independent contractors and not agents or employees of Hagerty Insurance Agency, LLC; Hagerty Canada, LLC; Hagerty Plus Canada, LLC (collectively "Hagerty"); or National Motor Club. As an independent contractor, they have exclusive control over their own equipment and personnel. Hagerty and National Motor Club are not responsible for their acts or omissions. In the case of damage, you must report it within three days of your service incident by calling the emergency roadside assistance hotline at 866-922-6569.

    • Should you run out of gas, up to 11 litres of fuel will be delivered to you as part of the roadside service program. You are responsible for any fuel beyond the amount provided.

    • The following services are not included:

      • Shuttle or convenience tows; tows from one shop to another
      • Any parts such as new batteries or replacement tires, wires, plugs, etc.
      • Any chemicals such as oil, coolant, fuel exceeding 11 litres, etc.
      • Repair labour such as tune-ups, tire balancing, wheel alignment, radiator installation, etc.
      • Recovery of a vehicle from a natural disaster, a vehicle submerged in water or a vehicle on an unmaintained road
        • Please note: Winching a vehicle over 30 metres off a maintained road is not covered
      • Towing vehicles excluded from the program due to excessive size or weight
      • Kilometres in excess of your benefit level allowance

    • Membership in the Historic Vehicle Association is automatically included when you enroll in Hagerty Plus, a comprehensive roadside service and benefits program designed exclusively for the automotive enthusiast.

      If you are not a Hagerty client, you may purchase membership in the HVA by going to www.historicvehicle.org.

    • It depends. Trailer coverage is included in the 80 km and 200 km plans. If you have one of these plans, your trailer will be covered up to the limit allowed on your plan. If you are enrolled in the High-Octane plan, your everyday use vehicle towing the trailer would be covered.

    • The program provides coverage for changing the wheel and tire with your inflated spare. If you don't have one, we will advise you of a company that sells spares and tow the vehicle to a service location.

    • Yes. You may upgrade at any time. The increase will be prorated and billed to you. It will take 24 hours to become effective. The term of the Hagerty Plus Program is 12 months. You may cancel your enrollment at any time. However, the cost of enrollment is non-refundable.

    • No. Although there is not a limit to the number of service incidents dispatched per 12-month term, they cannot be combined to cover any out-of-pocket expenses that may occur from a single incident.
