Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Silver painted wire wheels, blackwall tires, spotlight, rear mounted spare, folding windshield with post mounted mirrors. First owner Miss Hope Edwards (later Lady More of Bishops Castle) until 1951 and known history from then. Raced in the early 60s, then restored to like new conditon during the 70s and 80s. Still very nice throughout although with some minor edge chips on moveable panels. Interior is nearly new. A handsome and unusual automobile.

Market commentary

One of just 14 built with this cutdown door, disappearing top body style and unusually well documented, it brought a good price appropriately reflecting its rarity, sporting coachwork, history and performance.
