Market commentary
There were so many beautifully maintained but largely original cars in the Jim Taylor collection that it's hard to differentiate them. That said, this is one of the best, a car that looks like a beater but runs like a bear. It wears its history on its sleeve and restoring it would be sacrilegious. This result is modest, thoughtlessly discounted for the awful cosmetics but not taking the preservation and mechanical restoration into account. It is not for everyone, but for the one who appreciates it the value is significant.
