Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

No known history before its acquisition by Jo Siffert and subsequent restoration. Certainly unique and probably both light and quick. Decent older restoration but hasnt been used for years and needs attention before being driven. Presentable and, with its double bubble roof, distinctive.

Market commentary

The is 4x the value of a comparable AC Ace, and 5 or 6x that of an Aceca coupe. Considering that just over $200K will buy a good Aston DB4GT, Gullwing, 5000GT Allemano or 400 SuperAmerica this has to be all the money in the world for a Zagato bodied AC Bristol without substantial history. On the other hand, if a period history turns up ... its a bargain. But how many people are prepared to shoot craps for $200K
